Send Message Node: Layouts and Content Blocks

Updated

This is how your flow actually talks to people. Add the node, pick a layout, and write the message in the panel on the right.

One node can send more than one thing. + Add more content blocks stacks another block underneath the first, and they go out in the order you stacked them.

Block Sends Use this for
Text A simple text message Welcomes, quick replies, instructions
Text with buttons A message + action buttons Menus, FAQs, guided conversations
Card with image One image + title + subtitle + buttons Product highlights, promos, announcements
Carousel Multiple scrollable image cards Catalogs, multiple offers, step-by-step content
Attachment An image, video, voice note or PDF Lead magnets, guides, demos
Collect user info A prompt for email, phone or any custom field Lead gen, registration, onboarding
Add more content blocks — six block types, stacked in the order they'll be sent

Type {{username}} to drop in the recipient’s Instagram username. It shows up in the editor as a blue Username chip, and each contact sees their own handle. A text block holds up to 850 characters, counted for you under the box.

Add the node → pick your layout → fill in the content → connect to the next step.

Collect user info is the one block that pauses the conversation: the node shows Waiting for Email from contact and holds until they reply. That’s why it gets its own Next step handle — Then carries on immediately, Next step runs once the answer is in.
